Why the Inbox Stays Cold

The usual diagnosis for a dead B2B search is that you do not know enough people. So the buyer buys a list. The seller buys a sequence. Both sides add names.

The names were never the scarce thing. LinkedIn is full of sellers. Databases are full of buyers. What is missing is the pair: who needs this job now, and who already does it.

The seller is not hidden. The job is.

Outsiders keep adding volume because volume is easy to buy. Emails, events, intros. The inbox gets colder because every new message still describes a category, not a job.

The useful call is the one where the buyer arrives with a job, or the seller arrives with proof they already do it. That is the conversation that can close.
